Almost one month!

Wow.... i have almost gone by for one month without updating my blog.. This is obviously a sign that i am seriously overworked.. and my work life balance is starting to tilt ever so light towards the work side. Nevertheless, i still strive to maintain the balance, even though time is really at such a premium.

On settling down back in singapore and getting adjusted to my new life. The two word are 'not yet'. It is really such a drastic change from university life. Time is like one cent coins.. you can spend as much of it as you want but yet still barely feel the pinch. Living in the US, i remember everyday i could wake up at 10.. slowly take a stroll to school.. come back.. sleep a little.. then play some games before leisurely prepare the nights' menu for dinner with friends. Meeting deadlines, rushing for time? nah.. but working life is really very different. I am finding it hard to spread the little amount of free time i have among my family, friends and personal time. Right now what i am doing, i can't say that i have a passion for it. It some administrative work to collate all the results of my battalion for some internal competition. Its tedious and very taxing on the patience and require someone very meticulous.. which isn't quite one of my better traits. But soon i will be going for a course.. a course to learn about new weapons.. and thats what i am looking forward to. So with time, i'll settle down more and be at my creative best again. I must not let situation dictate my personal growth!
